The Caulfield Grammarians’ Association wishes to belatedly acknowledge the passing of the last living Grammarian to play for the Caulfield Grammarians Football Club (CGFC) prior to the Second World War. Geoff Pullman finished at Caulfield Grammar in 1935 before joining Grammarians and played his last game for the club in 1940 before heading off to North Africa to serve with the 2/12th Field Regiment. Geoff saw action at Tobruk, where he was wounded, El Alamein and then New Guinea. When he returned from the war, he moved to regional Victoria to start a family with his wife Marg. CGFC would like to offer their condolences to the Pullman family and acknowledge Geoff’s passing at 103 years of age.
