To our wonderful music community and supporters.
Caulfield Grammar Friends of Music love supporting our incredible Music Department by fundraising to provide additional opportunities for all music students, including excursions & tours; artists in residence; visiting musicians; concerts; student bursaries; and more. So, after 3 years without a chance to fundraise we are excited to be holding a Silent Auction and Raffle in 2023.
The Silent Auction and Raffle will be held online from mid-May, and conclude 28 May during a High Tea to celebrate the European Strings Tour to Europe in June.
To make the silent auction as successful as possible, we are seeking donations from our community. All donations large or small would be appreciated including for example:
- Experiences (provided by you or a third party): cooking lesson; music lesson; helicopter ride; theatre tickets; theme park; brewery or winery tour; mini-golf etc.
Vouchers: supermarkets; restaurants; cinema; petrol; shops; ice-cream shop etc.
Health, beauty & fitness: Gym membership; massage; spray tan; manicure; sporting equipment or apparel etc.
Creative (made by you or others): ceramics; paintings; cake making; gallery membership etc
Fashion: Second-hand or new designer bags; jewellery etc
Other: Books; food hamper (imperishable or a voucher); homewares; plants; memorabilia etc
Where possible we ask that all vouchers and experiences be valid for at least one year from 1 June 2023, and please note that we may choose to bundle smaller items with others.
We particular love seeing and supporting businesses owned by CGS parents, and we believe that the online auction platform will provide a valuable opportunity for exposure of your products or services.
